Ian McCulloch is an avid surfer and a South Florida native that sought out to share his passion not only for surfing, but South Florida as a whole through Boys With Boards. It’s super important to Ian that every client is able to see what makes the place he calls home so special. This is why he teaches about the beaches and the coastline as much as possible. With a BS in Finance from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and an active real estate license, Ian offers every side to surfing as well as local knowledge.
The simple name Boys With Boards LLC was coined due to the pure and minimalistic nature of surfing. Our goal is to teach anyone in Palm Beach County willing to learn and spread stoke so that anyone who learns from us can experience the kind of rush that only surfing can offer. Although thought up by two college students living in West Palm Beach, FL, Boys With Boards is now the best way to learn how to surf from male and Female instructors alike.
Ethan Rushing is a surfer, skimboarder, and skater born and raised on the Florida Gulf. Moving to South Florida in 2020 he quickly realized how special the Palm Beach area is. Growing up on the Gulf, Ethan is well trained in making the most out of small surfing conditions, and is dedicated to helping others get in the water as much as possible.
As a skimboarder Ethan has competed for over 6 years placing in several semi-professional divisions in both Skim USA and the United Skim Tour. Growing up with the well known “Joogsquad” he has learned the most effective ways to train an absolute beginner into a competitive rider in no time.
